Activation
Activation is just an easier way to sign in on a TV. It lets you type on a computer instead of using your remote control.
If you see an activation code on your TV screen when you open the AMC+ app, then here's what you need to do:
Use a computer and web browser
Go to www.amcplus.com/activate
Enter your email, password and the code from your TV
Wait for your TV screen to update automatically―now you're ready to stream
Does the code on screen give me free access to AMC+?
No. It's how you link two different devices together—your TV (or Roku, Apple TV etc) and the computer or phone you use to type in your login information. You still need a subscription.
I see a QR code. What is it?
The QR code is just a link to amcplus.com/activate. If you want, you can point your phone at this instead of typing the URL.
